Begrudge Me
Thou, it is, who spoke those words.
Forbidden because of thee.
How can thou say, one has not begrudged me?
For if your shoes I stood, I would have.
Alas, my own claims leave me perplexed.
Thou mustn’t exist completely untouched,
How can it be?
I must know, has thou suffered because of me?
